STUBB’S
COMPOUND BUTTER: HERBAL LEMON GARLIC BUTTER
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon STUBB’S Herbal Mustard Rub
5 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon dried tarragon
1/2 stick (2 ounces) unsalted butter, softened
1 teaspoon minced garlic
Yield:
About 2 ounces, or 4 tablespoons
Directions:
Stir STUBB’S Herbal Mustard Rub into the lemon juice
until dissolved and smooth. Crumble in the tarragon. Mash
in the butter and garlic until evenly combined. Chill until
ready to use.
Use
on:
Corn on the Cob - adds a lively tart balance to today’s
super sweet corn
French Bread - as a garlic-bread alternative, topped with
Parmesan and toasted
Shrimp - melt as a dipping sauce for poached shrimp, or
sauté raw shrimp scampi-style
Steak - Roll butter into logs and chill; slice off pats
and serve on grilled steaks
Chicken - Sauté breasts and top with fresh herbs
and toasted pine nuts
